DESCRIPTION:KSS by-laws require an annual meeting of the membership to be held at a date determined by the Board.  In addition to our weekly Newsletter and Shabbat livestream\, this announce serves as a public notice of the time and place for this meeting. \nAt the annual meeting\, the Board-approved budget and any reports will be presented\, candidates for non-elder Directors and Shamashim will be presented and elected\, and any other business matters the Board may deem appropriate.

DESCRIPTION:Kehilat Sar Shalom will be offering a New Member Class designed to introduce participants to the heart and calling of our Messianic Jewish congregation. The class consists of four sessions\, all of which are required for those seeking membership\, and attendance at all four classes is mandatory to complete the membership process. It is strongly recommended and encouraged for anyone who regularly attends Kehilat Sar Shalom\, even if they are not planning to become members. DESCRIPTION:Shavuot for Hebrew Year 5786 begins in the Diaspora at sundown on Thursday\, 21 May 2026 and ends at nightfall on Saturday\, 23 May 2026. \nThe festival of Shavuot (or Shavuos\, in Ashkenazi usage; Shabhuʿoth in Classical and Mizrahi Hebrew Hebrew: שבועות\, lit. “Weeks”) is a Jewish holiday that occurs on the sixth day of the Hebrew month of Sivan (late May or early June). Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day G-d gave the Torah to the entire Israelite nation assembled at Mount Sinai\, although the association between the giving of the Torah (Matan Torah) and Shavuot is not explicit in the Biblical text. The holiday is one of the Shalosh Regalim\, the three Biblical pilgrimage festivals. It marks the conclusion of the Counting of the Omer.
